The oil and gas industry is often viewed through a relatively simple lens: resources are extracted, processed and eventually converted into fuels or other products. In reality, the journey from an underground reservoir to the final end user is far more complex.

It involves a highly interconnected network of exploration, production, processing, transportation, refining, petrochemicals, logistics, engineering, procurement, maintenance and technical services.
